However, only nine cars were built and were sold at a price of $4.5 million apiece. Apart from the Veneno Roadster, three Veneno Coupe were made too that sold for $3.9 million each. The want for the Veneno Coupe and Roadster is such that they have been getting sold for much more than $4.5 million in the recent times, with one being sold for $11 million.
McLaren P1 LM: $3.6 Million
McLaren P1 isn’t a standard production car, and that is because this beast didn’t directly come from McLaren. This car is the street-legal model that was created from the track only McLaren P1 GTR. British firm Lanzante that was behind the F1 LMs, was responsible for creating this supercar. The car boasts of about 986 Horsepower and has been modified such that the P1 LM is lighter by around 60 kg than the McLaren P1 GTR. This supercar is rare and expensive, with the average price for this beauty being about $3.6 million.
Lykan Hypersport: $3.4 Million
Also featured in the Fast and Furious movie, the Lykan Hypersport is a majestic beauty. The car is produced by the UAE-based W Motors and is powered by a 3.7-liter twin turbo flat six engine. The Lykan Hypersport boasts of 780 Horsepower and 960 Nm torque. Also, in keeping with the tradition of the police buying expensive cars, Abu Dhabi Police Force also owns and operates one of these cars.
Aston Martin Valkyrie: $3.2 Million
Built by Aston Martin, Red Bull, and several other manufacturers working together, this expensive supercar is a collaboration of Red Bull Racing and Aston Martin. It is being touted as the fastest street legal car by the manufacturers. Even though Aston Martin hasn’t dropped any hints on the price of this sportscar, Red Bull has reportedly quoted the price of the car to be around $3.2 million. The British carmaker will be building around 150 of these hypercars, and they have been bought as of yet. The deliveries of this car will begin in the year 2019. According to the French automaker that makes this beast machine, the Chiron is the world’s most powerful, most luxurious, fastest and the most exclusive production super sportscar. The behemoth is powered by a massive 8.0-liter W16 engine that has mind-boggling 1,479 Horsepower and 1,600 Nm Torque.
Icona Vulcano Titanium: $2.8 Million
The total number of Icona Vulcano Titanium in the whole world is just one, making it the most obscure supercar on this list of expensive cars. But just because only one unit of this magnificent machine exists, doesn’t mean something is lacking in the car. The Icona Vulcano Titanium is an impressive machine and has been built as one. Handcrafted entirely, the car required more than 10,000 hours to be made into a reality. The car’s specs are amazing and can propel the car from 0-100 kmph in just 2.8 seconds. This is all thanks to the car’s 680 Horsepower 820 Nm Torque, but here’s the catch! The car can be tuned up so as to boost to 1,000 Horsepower thus upping the performance ante.
Pagani Huayra BC: $2.5 Million
For people who love the Pagani Huayra but don’t have an affinity towards roadster, this car is for them. The Huayra BC is a beast in a simple definition. Priced at a hefty $2.5 million, the expensive supercar made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016. The hardcore Huayra BC has an AMG-sourced twin-turbo V12 engine that generates 750 Horsepower. It is paired to a 7-speed automatic transmission, and it utilizes Carbon Fiber for increased strength(~20%) and is light weight(~50%), this has decreased the weight of the car by 132 kg.
Pagani Huayra Roadster: $2.4 Million
One of the most attractive convertibles that have ever been created, the Pagani Huayra Roadster is impressive by all means. What makes this car different from other Roadsters is that it weighs less than the Coupe model, which is vice versa for most Coupes and Roadsters. The supercar has an AMG V12 twin-turbo engine, which provides 764 Horsepower to the car and 1,000 Nm torque.
Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta: $2.1 Million
