VW ID Crozz Will be A Giant When it Releases in 2020
Volkswagen is planning to introduce its VW ID Crozz crossover as one of its core selling vehicles in 2020 besides the ID Buzz Minivan and the ID compact four-door vehicle. However, by the year 2025, VW alone plans to have at least 23 EVs, with the group total of 80 vehicles using hybrid or all-electric powertrains.
The VW ID Crozz follows an ever-trendy coupe SUV design theme, which is highlighted by the use of a wide bonnet, a contrasting roof that’s finished in a highly glossy black apart from contoured wings. VW’s signature light graphic will be up front with help from full LED headlights.
The car passengers will be able to benefit from a versatile seating arrangement and a spacious interior due to batteries being on the floor, with n no transmission tunnel. Furthermore, due to no B-pillar, there will be large sliding and swinging doors.
The VW ID Crozz will be a zero-emission vehicle, with it driving using all four wheels making use of one electric motor per axle. This lets the car have a 500 km range as well as a total of 300 horsepower. According to Volkswagen, the car can reach speeds of up to 180 km/h, while the battery will have quick charging to go from 0 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes.
