Volkswagen 2017 e-Golf to Start From $31,315
Volkswagen announced the starting price of the new and updated 2017 e-Golf.
The all new 2017 e-Golf will now boast of a range of 200 km thanks in part to the new and more powerful battery pack. The price for the latest model has been set at $31,315, which will include $820 for the car’s delivery.
The 2017 e-Golf plug-in EV has been given a redesign for full complementing the future refreshening of the Volkswagen’s entire lineup of Golf.
The car now makes use of an upgraded electric motor to produce 134 horsepower as well 290 Nm Torque.
The pricing was announced by the VW on Thursday at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2017.
The newly upgraded battery pack now has 35.8 kWh of total energy storage, much better than what previous e-Golf had at 24.2 kWh, thus showcasing an improvement of 68 km in range over last year.
The 2017 e-Golf’s SE base model will have DC fast charging as an optional feature, thus letting the car’s battery be charged up to 80 percent from 0 in just an hour.
