All Variants of the New Ford Expedition to Cost More

The updates include WiFi, charging ports, driver assist technology, rear-seat entertainment system, and a panoramic roof. The SUV also has a new Aluminum body which decreases about 135 kg, and the engine output has been updated too.
Due to such extensive upgrades, the price of the Expedition has encountered a boost. Now, the cheapest variant, the XL 4×2 model will have a price tag of $49,290. The highest costing variant, the extended-length Platinum 4×4 trim, has a price of $79,740. The prices are inclusive of the shipping charge. Ford unveiled the new Expedition earlier this year ahead of the 2017 Chicago auto show. In recent years, Ford had been content to let the eight-seater languish with few updates; but now the automaker hopes to cash in on what’s become a hot segment.
The latest iteration of the Ford Expedition came out this year before the Chicago auto show 2017. With so many updates to back it up, the automaker hopes to cash on the popularity of the SUV segment as well as the reliability and trust of the Expedition.
