In the recent J.D. Power’s recent Seat Quality and Satisfaction Study, 2017 Audi A3 has received a perfect score. The seats have been supplied by Magna International. However, the study underlines the steady improvement that automotive seating systems in the recent systems.
As per the study on seating in the cars, 2017 Audi A3 owners were the most satisfied with 0.0 problems/100 cars sold with the particular seat.
As the car makers have been lavishing more attention and time on the interiors, customers’ satisfaction is growing.
Power is one of the industry’s leaders when it comes to consumer gripes about the vehicles and did point to a variety of problems that car owners still face. Some of the common problems that owners face are cracking/peeling of leather and vinyl, blue dye transfer, as well as rattles and squeaks.
The study asked the individual car owners to rate the vehicle’s seats and seat belts quality on a set group of parameters. The parameters were malfunctions, defects or any design issues during the first ninety days of owning the car.
The second best rating went to the Porsche Cayenne, which had 0.8 problems/100 vehicles. The seats for the car have been supplied by Adient.
