Spyker C8 Preliator Spyder Revealed at Geneva Motor Show 2017
The 2017 Geneva Motor Show has been seeing some amazing cars being unveiled, and the latest to join the brigade is the C8 Preliator’s Spyder version from the Dutch sports carmaker Spyker.
The C8 Preliator will come with an open top and will be powered by Koenigsegg 5.0 liter V8 engine instead of Audi’s V8 that were used earlier. The V8 from Koenigsegg has been optimized according to the requirements of the Spyker and has an output of 600 horsepower. Taking a piece of advice from its clients, Spyker has put in manual gearbox only in the car. The C8 Preliator has a top speed of 322 km/h and can go from 0-100kmph in just 3.6 seconds.
The Spyker C8 Preliator Spyder has been built on all aluminum space frame and comes with a new Ascot Bronze paint color. The interiors consist of a cream leather with a honeycomb contrasted stitching. The HUD can launch apps like Spotify or Apple Music that can be done by simple hand gestures.
Only 100 pieces of the Spyker C8 Preliator Spyder will be made, with a cost of US $429,000. Considering the enthusiasm of the middle eastern car owners, some of these cars might find themselves on the roads of the UAE, Saudi Arabia or some other GCC countries.
