Spy Pictures of New Generation Aston Martin Vantage Out!
Aston Martin has released the spy shots of the latest generation Aston Martin Vantage Coupe. The spy shots were released by British sports car manufacturer itself.
The move seems to have been orchestrated by the Aston Martin‘s PR department, in order to build anticipation and excitement before the next Vantage arrives.
The currently operational Aston Martin Vantage has been on the market since 2005, with it being the Henrik Fisker-designed model and having a Jaguar-sourced 4.3-litre V8 engine.
It is expected that the latest Vantage with a V8 engine will be removing its covers at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show that is supposed to be held in September. The car will have a twin-turbocharged engine that’s also been introduced in the Aston Martin DB11 lineup.
The Vantage will make use of the same aluminium platform as the DB11 apart from Mercedes-Benz’s infotainment system and AMG’s 4.0-litre force-fed engine. The engine gives the car ability to generate 500-600 horsepower depending on the model variations.
Carrying a lighter architecture along with turbocharged grunt that delivers effectively, the new Aston Martin Vantage should be able to sprint from 0-100 km/h in somewhere around high threes or in low four-second range. The maximum speed of the car is expected to be over 300km/h, with options for an eight-speed automatic and perhaps even a manual transmission.
The car’s price in UAE can be expected to be around AED 500,000 when it goes on sale.
