Sharjah to Issue Permits for Regulating Desert Safari in Sharjah
UAE’s Sharjah has started issuing permits to tour operators who wish to launch their services pertaining to desert safari in Sharjah.
As per the new rules that have been approved by Sharjah Executive Council, these permits will be given by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) for creating an organised movement of vehicles that enter the desert.
Known best for its wildlife parks and natural heritage, Sharjah is a destination favoured by many for desert safari adventures. Desert Safari in Sharjah has seen a lot of demand in the past few years.
It’s important to have an organised movement flow for 4×4 vehicles that enter the inner areas, while rapidly expanding the fav adventure destination.
This move is likely to ensure a more balanced care of different life forms in the desert region as well as maintenance of all the natural sights, which draw a lot of visitors.
The main concern of the project is to preserve the environment and prevent accidents with an increasing number of desert safari vehicles that enter these zones.
All the permit holders will have to comply with the necessary environmental laws apart from security and safety requirements with any violators deemed liable under the law.
