A Possible Audi R8 GT Model Spotted in Europe
Audi revealed the Audi R8 RWS last month at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, and now, Audi seems to have another variant of the car in the pipeline.
This variant of the Audi R8 was spotted in the Europe and looks highly identical to just about every other R8 in the market currently. Although, there’s some amount of camouflage covering the car’s rear end.
While the addition of a new set of alloy rims has got some people captivated, most people have been thinking more in the terms of the rear end, that looks a lot enchanting.
For starters, there are much larger tailpipes that stick out visibly, and furthermore, beneath the annoying white and black swirls, there seems to be a much larger rear diffuser. There’s even a place for an extended mesh grille above the diffuser and a little below the lights that allow the hot air an escape route.
Additionally, with extra cooling properties on the rear end, the latest R8 model looks to be an enhanced variant of the unit and may possibly come with R8 GT badge.
Although for its drivetrain, there are multiple choices, one is the traditional Quattro system, and the other is the Audi’s latest rear-wheel drivetrain.
There’s no idea which one adorns the latest model yet to come from Audi, however, this is something we’d like to wait and see, considering it looks exciting.
Audi R8 Power
The current variant of the R8 has a 5.2-litre V10 petrol engine that makes up 600 horsepower in the plus trim. While the engine details for this unit of the R8 are yet to be revealed, it’s certainly not expected that Audi will be making use of anything smaller than what it has already used.
