Porsche 911 GT2 RS: Porsche Latest Monster Unleashed
Porsche has unleashed the most powerful road legal 911 ever produced. Known as the GT2 RS, the 911’s recent edition has made the car go beast mode, of the car that has sold a lot more than one million pieces ever since the car came into accord 55 years ago.

The look of the Porsche GT2 RS has turned aggressive while the aesthetics have been worked on quite a lot. Some of the features that have been given the distinct treatment are the Carbon scoops in the hips, exaggerated front wheel arch extractors, gaping exhaust tunnels in the rear bumper, and square-jawed front intakes.
The Weissach weight-saving package has been given as optional and includes magnesium wheels, carbon roof, and carbon suspension components. Despite the addition of all such features, the new Porsche 911 GT2 RS has a total weight of just 1,470 kg.
In the engine department, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS has been provided with a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine, which dishes out 748 Nm torque and 690 horsepower. The rear wheel drive has been attached to the Porsche’s dual-clutch PDK automatic gearbox.
The car goes from 0-100 kmph in 2.8 seconds only and can go to the maximum speed of 340 km/h. According to the company, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS goes from 0-200 km/h in less than 9 seconds. The GT2 RS2 borrows from the 911 Turbo its four-wheel steering system.
The car’s interior is made up of Alcantara Leather and Carbon Fibre. Since the car is a 911 RS, the rear seats have been changed to a roll cage.
1,000 units of the Porsche GT2 RS have been produced, and all of them have been sold. It isn’t known how many of these have been kept for the GCC. The car has a price of AED 1 million while the optional Weissach package raises the price by AED 100,000 additionally.
