Peugeot Pick Up Truck Known as Just Pick Up
Peugeot can’t be counted as an active part of the pickup segment ever since they stopped the production of their 207-based Hoggar pickup(that wasn’t revealed in the GCC region) three years ago.
But, now Peugeot is back in the pickup business with a swanky new pickup that’s called Peugeot Pick Up.
Just like its name, the design appeal of the Pick Up is also purpose-oriented and straightforward. The aesthetics of the pickup vehicle have been directly lifted from the latest version of the Zhengzhou Nissan Auto (ZNA) Rich pickup truck, which is already being sold in the UAE.
The basic exterior of the vehicle can be appended in the top end model that has shiny chrome bits. Although the photos of the Pick Up’s interior aren’t yet out, comparing and speculating with the ZNA Rich, it is being reasoned that there’s not much difference.
The Peugeot Pick Up will be powered by 2.5-liter turbodiesel engine which churns out a total of 115 horsepower and 280 Nm torque. The vehicle will have either a 4X2 or 4X4 system paired with a five-speed manual gearbox.
The overall ground clearance of the Pick Up ranges from 210-215 mm.
Starting September, the Peugeot Pick Up will be going on sale in Africa as a double cab. Although, Peugeot still hasn’t made clear if the Pick Up will come to the Middle East.
