Nissan Leaf Nismo Edition To Show Up at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show?
Nissan will be in attendance at the Europe’s Future 3.0 for unveiling their latest model of the Leaf Hybrid. It also looks as if the company is trying to hide something from the people, although, since it’s the age of the internet, not many secrets can stay in for a long time. Someone out there stumbled upon the teaser for the Nissan Leaf Nismo Edition.
However, there’s little to no information yet about the Nismo Leaf as there hasn’t been much clarity about the model. Although, the image does partly reveal what we should expect.
The Nissan Leaf Nismo Edition has a brand new front bumper that has larger air-intakes, which is evident from the LED fog lights that are flanking on either sides. Furthermore, there are red highlights that include a red front lip spoiler, an exclusive set of rims made up of alloy for covering all the corners and for covering the hood, a thick black stripe has been used.
Nissan had revealed the redesigned the Leaf Hybrid earlier this year. The car came with a 40 kWh Li-ion battery pack and has been combined along with an electronic motor for generating 319 Nm torque and 147 Horsepower.
For now, there’s no word about the Nissan Leaf Nismo hybrid benefitting from the additional power. However, it’ll be considered as remarkably odd if Nissan doesn’t add any additional battery juice.
Nissan Leaf Nismo Edition Debut
Though nothing has been confirmed yet, most sources seem to indicate that the visually enhanced Leaf Nismo will be destined for the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show which will be held later this year. Production plans for the vehicle have already been confirmed.
