Nissan Leaf to be Equipped with Highly Useful e-Pedal
The Japanese car maker Nissan’s EV, Leaf(Leading Environmentally-friendly Affordable Family) car, had been introduced in the 2010 and is a compact 5-door hatchback.
In the recent times, the Japanese car maker has made an important announcement regarding the new upcoming Leaf EV. The new Leaf will come equipped with an e-Pedal technology that will allow the drivers to accelerate, decelerate or stop using just one pedal.
The technology works by turning the accelerator into an e-Pedal, by flipping a switch. This allows the driver to be able to accelerate, decelerate and stop by the use of just the e-Pedal. The technology is the world’s first one-pedal operation, which will let the drivers bring the Leaf to a complete halt whilst even on hills, stay in the position, and resume the driving instantly.
Nissan has claimed the drivers can cover 90 percent of the driving needs with the use of the e-Pedal. Hence, making the whole driving experience more streamlined and convenient for the driver. During the drive in city or in heavy traffic, there will be a reduced effort since the driver won’t have to concentrate on more than one pedal at a time, simplifying the driving.
Nissan Leaf is widely popular and the latest variant will help it grow at a faster pace according to the features and market research.
