Nissan Launches 2018 X-Trail in the UAE
Nissan, the Japanese automotive giant has been working on the 2018 X-Trail for about four years and now, the time is great for the car to get a mid-life facelift for updating it to a crossover so it can stay in competition with its rivals Mazda CX-5, Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sorento.
The vehicle has been just launched in the Middle Eastern region, with a range that comprises of all-wheel and two-wheel drive models. The car has the same engine as the previous model with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 169 Horsepower and 233 Nm Torque. The price of the car starts at 87,400 AED for its base variant and goes up to 129,000 AED for the top-end model.
On the car’s exteriors, there are visible changes to the grille, that has the signature V-Motion mug much bigger now with gloss black accents, new front as well as rear headlights, and full LED headlights. Nissan has also introduced five more paint options for the vehicle such as sandy beige and a pearl blue.
All the variants of the car will have a continuously variable transmission as the sole option. As well as better sound quality coupled with improved radio reception because of the latest shark fin antenna. A pair of airbags has been given as standard features too.
