New Generation Honda Accord’s Sketch Divulged
The Japanese automaker Honda has divulged a sketch of their next generation Honda Accord, earlier than it was expected. The Honda Accord’s latest model was to be unveiled on July 14, so the sketch being revealed earlier has set abuzz the industry. Honda chose its press site and twitter handle for providing the image and the information related to engines.
In the image; the featuring of prominent lines in the design on the bonnet of the Accord can be seen clearly. In fact, the side profile follows the trend of thick shoulder line too. A feature that seems borrowed from other Honda cars is the presence of the huge slat of chrome.
It can also be speculated that new generation Accord has the LED head lights. Honda has previously said that the V6 engine that had been used earlier has now been discontinued. Now, the choices will be from 2.0-liter and 1.5-liter engines. The Honda Civic Type R’s 2.0-liter engine too will be provided as a choice.
What is interesting is that one engine variant would be a 2.0 hybrid engine. The Accord will have either a 10-speed automatic, a CVT, or a six-speed manual transmission. The new model will go on sale later this year.
