New Aston Martin Vantage Looks Like DB10
New photos of the Aston Martin’s new Vantage sports car have emerged of the car undergoing testing.
As per the photos, the design is seemingly close to that of the 2015 DB 10 that had been built solely for the James Bond movie Spectre.
The replacement of the Aston Martin’s entry model is to be revealed in 2017, with sales starting in 2018, as per the company.
The camouflage provided by the prototype car isn’t enough to hide the reverse-angled grille, which was first seen on the DB10. This helps give the upcoming Vantage a new look as compared to the current model. The car has been provided with Pirelli tires and that is additionally showcased by a Pirelli sticker on the side.
There is one more sign on the car, which is of Oerlikon Graziano, an Italian supplier that supplies manual gearboxes for the variants of the current Vantage. This may likely seem that the company hopes to continue the same relationship. The company also makes dual-clutch for high-end performance cars, a first for Aston Martin.
It’s likely that the car will have a V8 engine provided by the Daimler’s AMG performance arm. Even the bigger DB11 model is available in the same engine apart from Aston’s V12.
The Aston Martin will be unveiled at a private event.
