Mercedes-Benz Project One: Hybrid Supercar
Mercedes-AMG’s Project One is a game changer hybrid supercar aimed at bringing Formula 1 technology on the roads.
The Mercedes-Benz Project One will be revealed at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. It is a road-legal hybrid supercar and equipped with a high-tech powertrain, will be able to produce 1,000 horsepower. The Mercedes-Benz Project One’s hybrid powertrain consists of the F1 based 1.6-liter turbocharged V6 engine as well as four electric motors.
According to Mercedes, Project One has the top speed of 350 km/h with an electric-only range of 25 kilometres.
Most of the car, as well as its design, has been kept strictly under the cover apart from a single image revealing the front headlights and the car’s silhouette.
The Mercedes-Benz Project One will be produced in a small batch of 275 units at a cost of $2.54 million each.
