Kia Continues To Stun With its Shooting Brake Concept
Kia had already showcased us their shooting brake once before, teasing us with its functionality when it unveiled the grand Sportspace concept at the Geneva Motor Show 2015. Now, the company has just revealed a preview of its Frankfurt Motor Show-bound concept car, which we hope should reach the showrooms.
It seems that this will happen in Europe at least since the Korean automaker has claimed that the striking looking concept is a preview of the upcoming Kia C’eed’s body style. The Kia C’eed has been presented to the Middle East market as the Kia Cerato.
With an emphasis on its width, the concept car features a light bar that runs across its entire rear end and puts on display its minimalist styling using a restrained approach whenever it comes to any kind of decorative body panel lines.
The signature and the highlight of the design looks to be a silver streak, which outlines the shooting brake body style of Kia that runs from the A-pillar’s bottom uninterrupted all the while to the rear windshield’s base.
The car’s side features its sunken doors at its bottom for lightening up the car visually as well as further exaggerating its already wide wheel arches. The concept wheels look like 20-inch ones, however, it may be unlikely on a production design Kia Cerato.
The concept car has been designed at Kia’s European styling studio; which is as close to the Kia’s scheduled world premiere spot at the September Frankfurt Motor Show. Although, the latest concept won’t arrive in the production form until the year 2019 as then only is the C’eed/Cerato successor has been planned. Let’s wish that there is a lot of time for Kia Middle East for working out the plans for its regional release.
