Jaguar has confirmed that the upcoming E-Pace compact crossover will be a part of the automaker’s lineup for the next year. The vehicle will be the Jaguar’s second utility vehicle. The battery powered I-Pace will also become a part of the Jaguar’s lineup next year, but will only come after E-Pace.
According to the sales data, the F-Pace crossover of Jaguar which was launched last year has become one of the most selling vehicles for the automaker.
The Jaguar E-Pace will be provided with a platform that underpins the XE compact sedan and will be a high-performance crossover. The combination of Jaguar’s performance along with the sporty looks is sure to garner attention and stand out.
There are only a few technical details about the upcoming crossover, but according to Jaguar, the E-Pace will have the Jaguar’s Ingenium gasoline engines. This probably means that no V6, hybrid or diesel engine will be provided.
E-Pace will also be provided with an all wheel drive.
There will be an official introduction of the E-Pace in London this year on July 13.
Jaguar has had a long history of producing powerful performance in their cars, and with E-Pace around the corner, the same can be expected from the company again.
