Hyundai Launches 2018 Sonata in Middle East
Hyundai has launched the redesigned 2018 Sonata for the Middle East. The redesigned 2018 Sonata features a new grille design, new rear design with slimmer taillights and cleaner profile lines.
The car has been designed by the Korean company’s California studios, and comes preloaded with a lot of chrome accents and LED lights. The difference on the interiors of the car is of piano-key switches that are to be used for the audio system and climate controls. Also, there is a newly designed instrument cluster which features digital gauge.
As per the engineers of Hyundai, chassis has been tightened while suspension tuning has been stiffened. Even the steering has improved by up to 12 percent. Furthermore, new suspension components and bushings have been added to provide an improved comfort level and a more communicative ride.
There are a plethora of safety and driver assistance systems, such as rear-view camera and parking assist. There is also an infotainment system with a 7-inch screen that has both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
In the GCC region, the 2018 Sonata will be provided with three options, naturally aspirated 2.0-litre or 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine, however, there is even a turbo motor that’ll be coming.
The Sonata Turbo can go from 0-100 kmph in just 7.5 seconds and produces 360 Nm torque, with due assistance from its eight-speed automatic transmission.
