Grand Cherokee Track Hawk by Jeep Carries Massive Power
In the US, Jeep has announced the price for its Hellcat-engined Grand Cherokee Track Hawk. The car is already on sale and carries a price tag of AED 315,000.
From the perspective of performance, the Jeep provides a supercharged 6.2-litre V8 engine, which produces 707 Horsepower along with 875 Nm torque.
This engine capacity easily renders the 2018 Grand Cherokee Track Hawk as being the most powerful SUV in production ever. The SUV is capable of going from 0-100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds and has the maximum speed of 290 km/h, helping the car reach a quarter mile in mere 11.6 seconds.
The Grand Cherokee ensures that all four wheels get the power, and with an eight-speed automatic transmission, Brembo braking power on all the corners, the car can be stopped from 100 km/h in just 35 metres. The car utilizes 20-inch wheels and has a five-mode driver-select chassis that gives several options on an adaptive Bilstein suspension.
Jeep further claims that the Grand Cherokee Track Hawk will have a pull of 0.88g on the skid part. This means the car isn’t going to shy away from the corners as well. The car’s rear end has an electronic limited-slip differential apart from a standard launch control mode.
However, the Trackhawk still is an inch lower than the Grand Cherokee SRT model and has an exclusive bonnet that comes with dual heat extractors and optimized airflow.
Inside the SUV is a flat-bottomed steering wheel, dark chrome and carbon fibre finishes, a black/red or black leather package and a 19-speaker audio system.
For those who are waiting enthusiastically for the car, it can be found in the Jeep Pavilion at Dubai Motor Show, which is to be held in November 2017.
