GMC Yukon Denali 2018 Model Gets a New Grille And 10-Speed Transmission
The 2018 model of GMC Yukon Denali is on the path to get a 10-speed transmission as well as a new multidimensional grille in its latest update. The SUV will be available for sale around September and will have some optional features in it too.
The 10-speed SUV has been developed by GMC in partnership with the Ford Motor Co., and has been touted as being more efficient in terms of fuel and has smoother shifting as compared to the 8-speed 6.2-liter V8 engine it will be replacing.
Duncan Alfred, VP, Global GMC gave a statement,” Yukon Denali’s latest edition has been in keeping with the legacy of the car, and the enhancements for 2018 will match the perennial style and substance of the car. The Yukon Denali is an icon in the car world and has built its reputation on its design and uncompromising quality.”
Apart from improving the look, the new grille works to improve the airflow to the radiator; while there are shutters behind the grille that close which effectively reduces the drag that happens during highway driving.
Both wheelbase versions of the Denali trim, regular and extended, account for more than all Yukon sales.
There has been no word from GMC regarding the pricing of the 2018 model, but the figures for 2017 were around $67,260.
