Dubai Showroom for Tesla Opens on Sheikh Zayed Road
Elon Musk’s Telsa has been trying to set its foot in the Middle Eastern market, and by opening a new sales room and service center on the Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, the company seems to be on track.
Tesla’s arrival in the region was widely anticipated and announced, just as the carmaker gears up for the start of the delivery cycle of the Model 3, Tesla’s mass market car. The car will be available in the UAE at the cost of AED 128,000. Successful establishment of the Model 3 will help stabilize and improve the growth of the EV market.
Facing the Burj Khalifa, the new Tesla’s service center will work with the growing network of charging stations around the country that will include 50 destination chargers and five ultrafast chargers
The people invited for the launch were a part of the UAE’s Tesla owners. These people have kept a Tesla in a country where petrol cars rule the roads.
Buyers who wish to buy a Tesla Model 3 will have to wait till the new year to get hands on their Model 3. For registration, a deposit of AED 4,000 will have to be done.
