Dubai Motor Show 2017 To Have World’s Fastest Quad
Dubai Motor Show 2017 is still a few months away, yet the anticipation for it has been growing multifold with so many announcements by various car companies around the world. Expected in attendance is the Aston Martin Vantage, Mercedes-AMG Project One Hypercar among a large variety of new cars to come in. Some of the cars being put on display are beasts on their own!
However, there is yet another vehicle on which all the eyes will be set. The new Engler FF superquad which has been claimed to be the world’s fastest. And the claim doesn’t seem far-fetched if you believe the figures the vehicle is capable of: 0-100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h.
Even then, the figure can be justified, considering that the vehicle contains a 5.2-litre V10 engine, something that’ll normally be under the hood of an Audi R8 or a Lamborghini.
For a 750 kg vehicle, the mind blowing 750 horsepower provides the power to weight ratio of 1:1, a figure better than the 1,500 horsepower Bugatti Chiron. The only vehicle that seemingly matches up to this figure is the Valkyrie’s 1:1 horsepower to kilo ratio.
The Engler FF superquad has been designed in Italy, however, it will be hand-built in the UK. Only 50 units of the Engler FF will be made.
The vehicle makes use of composite materials such as titanium, carbon fiber and so on.
The cost of the Engler FF will seemingly be as much as a proper supercar most likely
