DS 7 Crossback 2018 Edition Revealed in Geneva Auto Show 2017
Citroen’s luxury brand DS has launched the new DS 7 Crossback SUV at the Geneva Motor Show 2017. Hoping to piggyback on the growing crossover segment, the new DS7 launched with a lot of features and an attractive design.
The 2018 DS 7 Crossback has different engine options including a plug-in hybrid option as well. The oil-based options are an 180 horsepower diesel and 225 horsepower petrol with some more in between. The electric only range of the crossover is around 59 km while the hybrid option will have a combined output of 300 horsepower. The battery will be charged in 4.5 hours using a 6.6kW charger. The car has a choice of either 8 speed automatic or 6-speed manual gearbox.
The DS 7 Crossback has a semi-autonomous driving feature known as ‘DS Connected Pilot’. The feature will come bundled with night vision, active scan suspension, and DS Park Pilot to help review the on road and off road conditions for a comfortable ride.
The DS 7 Crossback exterior feature active LED ‘Vision’ headlights while the rear side has 3D headlights. The interior of the crossover has two 12-inch screens to display navigation, MirrorScreen, DS-Connect, and multimedia interface.
The DS 7 Crossback will be on sale by the end of 2017, however, there is no word yet if the crossover will be up for sale in the UAE or in the GCC region.
