Corvette Carbon 65 Announced For 2018
Corvette Carbon 65 has been announced for the year of 2018 and only a limited number of cars will be available for purchase.
The limited production model of the sports car, Corvette Carbon 65 is a celebratory edition to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the car. However, with only 650 cars being produced for worldwide, it’ll be a race to see who gets to own such a coveted car.
General Motors will be building 650 Carbon 65s, out of which 500 cars will be for sale in the United States and 150 will be up for sale worldwide. Because of such numbers, most of the United states and Canadian Chevrolet car dealers too won’t be able to get their hands on the car model.
Available only on Z06 and Grand Sports models, the Carbon 65 is a trim package at the cost of $15,000. It’ll although be available for both hardtop and convertible though. The interior of the car will have a special black suede upholstery with blue stitching, carbon fibre steering wheel, and special sill plates. What else that is coveted in the car are the exteriors, which include a special grey exterior with a blue colour soft top for the convertibles. Also included are a carbon fibre spoiler, cooling ducts and ground effects.
The price of 2018 Grand Sports Carbon 65 Hardtop is to start at $81,490 and will climb to a figure of $99,490 for the Z06 convertible. The shipping prices have not yet been announced but are expected to be announced in a few days.
The Corvette began its stellar journey and was first put into production in the year 1953, June 30, and except for except for the year 1983, has been a continuous part of Chevrolet’s lineup.
