Cadillac showed its incredible Escala Concept vehicle at the Pebble Beach about a year ago, and now the car’s influence on the production cars has been revealed slowly. According to the latest sighting of the CT6, there seems to be a mild shuffle based on the Escala concept. Even though the sighted CT6 was camouflaged, the changes are visible.
A defining feature of the Escala was its narrow, horizontal headlights, while the CT6 has long, vertical lamps, which go up the tops of the car’s fenders. The CT6’s lights terminate higher up and emulate the Escala. The LED accent lights are still a part, but they seem separated from the main lamps to look just like a concept.
The CT6’s grille has been revised, but the exact design shape change was hard to notice, although, the insert had the same type of the mesh as Escala. The full-color crest appears to be higher in the grille, which is again a subtle nod to the Escala concept. The lower grille which is a part of the front bumper gives the car an edgier look.
The rest of the car though looks just as same as the current model. It may be possible that some other changes creep up in the future as this sighted vehicle was just a prototype. But more updates on this can only be possible early next year when the Cadillac CT6 will be officially revealed.
