BMW Concept Z4 Roadster Model
On Thursday, BMW Group has unveiled its long-awaited concept car, which indicates the way forward for its next-gen Z4 Roadster.
The Concept Z4 Roadster was introduced during the Monterey Car Week that was held at the Pebble Beach, California and is regarded as BMW’s vision of what is a modern roadster. It is considered as the preview of BMW’s production car, which will be revealed over the course of next year. The Z4 Roadster next-generation model is supposed to go on sale in the 2019’s first half.
The previous Z4 model has already been put out of production last year in August. Now, Toyota is working with the German car maker for joint development of the replacement for Z4 and a sports coupe by Toyota, which has been speculated as the Toyota Supra. These new cars will be using a new lightweight platform, as well as, next-generation Z4 is expected to grow in size.
The Concept Z4 model has a classic roadster design cues like a low-slung and stretched silhouette, long wheelbase, and a compact rear end. The interiors of the vehicle have been designed to put the complete focus on the overall driving experience. Display screens have been integrated within the driver’s cockpit and all the designated controls have been grouped into function islands.
