Bentley To Offer Level 3 Autonomous Vehicle Two Years From Now
Bentley’s CEO Wolfgang Duerheimer has given a statement telling about the plans of Bentley. Bentley will be rolling out level 3 autonomous driving capabilities across its entire range, in just two years from now.
For the process, Bentley hopes to use the tech that’s already been showcased by the Volkswagen group partner Audi. Audi has demonstrated the tech on its A8 limousine. The same tech will be used for the new model of Bentley, which is possibly its upcoming convertible variant of its new Bentley Continental GT coupe. The car was unveiled at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, or possibly in Bentley’s next Flying Spur Limousine.
Audi hopes to get legislative approval for offering the tech in 2018.
Duerheimer said that when the level 3 autonomous driving technology becomes available in the market, people will start demanding it as soon as it does.
