Audi Proudly Shows its New 2018 RS4 Avant at the Frankfurt Motor Show 2017
At the Frankfurt Motor Show 2017, Audi appeased its loyal brigade with its new generation 2018 RS4 Avant.
Developed using the Porsche-developed engine, the 2018 RS4 Avant produces 450 horsepower apart from producing 600 Nm Torque from its 2.9-liter turbocharged V6 engine. The car has a standard all-wheel drive delivering its superior performance to the road, showcasing the beast it is.
The car will be put for showrooms across Europe in the starting of 2018, and will carry a price tag of Euro 68,200(AED 299,000). There’s been no update yet from Audi about when the Middle East region will get these cars.
The new 2018 RS4 Avant can go from 0-100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds and has a maximum speed of 250 km/h, courtesy a lot of under the hood upgrades by Audi and Porsche.
Additionally, if there’s ‘need for speed’, you can take the optional RS dynamic package to get the car to 280 km/h. This twin-turbocharged V6 engine will have an eight-speed automatic shift that features launch control and different driving modes.
As compared to the Audi A4, the 2018 RS4 Avant sits lower by 7 mm on the sports suspension as well an optional kit that has ceramic brakes and a sportier suspension setup along with Audi’s propriety Dynamic Ride Control System.
