ATS GT Revealed at Salon Privé in London
ATS GT was recently revealed at Salon Privé in London by the manufacturer, who underwent a resurrection and has come back to reveal its GT supercar, with hopes of other cars following soon after.
In terms of aesthetic appeal, the mid-engined GT isn’t too different from an eloquently designed car one would expect from a boutique manufacturer. The car’s front carries a bit of look from the Porsche Carrera GT and Dodge Viper, although, its back is much more exciting!
The cabin of the GT has been swathed in Alcantara leather and the steering wheel makes use of carbon fibre inserts for giving it a sporty feel.
The company hasn’t revealed technical details as such, however, it did say that the ATS GT will use a twin-turbo V8 engine and will churn out 650-700 horsepower. The vehicle will have seven -speed transmission on an RWD that helps the car go from 0-100kmph in just a bit over three seconds, while the top speed of the car is 332 km/h.
ATS GT has been built using a lot of composite materials and promises quite a few cutting edge tech solutions. GT’s dynamic behaviour will be customisable because of three driving modes, Corsa(track), Viaggio(road) and Sport. The settings for each mode will differ and alter the car’s suspension set up, engine power, gear-shift ferocity, just like modern cars.
