Artega Scalo Superelletra to be Available in Market in 2019
German carmaker Artega Automobil GmbH & Co. KG unveiled their new supercar, the Artega Scalo Superelletra at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The Artega Scalo Superetellra has come up with an all electrical model that will be available in the market in 2019 with only 50 cars to be built.
The supercar has a retro design with gull wing doors and has a 2+1 seating arrangement which has the driver seated in the center, like the McLaren F1.
The Scalo Superelletra’s specs are nothing but magnificent with two electric motors on the front axle and two on the back that collectively provide an output of 1020 horsepower. Not letting this powerful configuration go to waste, the supercar can go from 0-100 kmph in just 2.7 seconds. However, the top speed has been electronically limited to 300 km/h.
The Artega Scalo Superelletra has a large 120 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack with a range of 500 kilometers according to the New European Driving Cycle(NEDC). The actual on-road range might differ though. There is no word yet on the car’s charging time.
The supercar will be around $1.6 million and considering the love for supercars in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other GCC countries, might be seen on the roads as they arrive after production!
