2018 Range Rover Sport revealed
Land Rover Jaguar has finally revealed its plan for the 2018 Range Rover Sport model with a fresh look, more power and new additions to the list.
Design wise, the fleet receives a pair of Matric Pixel LED headlights on both the sides of a revised grille and just below, is a newly modified front bumper.
A new Touch Pro Duo infotainment system is installed in the interior with two 10-inch touchscreen units and few more charging ports. A new feature of activation key has also added which allows the owners to lock or unlock their vehicle even without a key fob.
New to next years pipeline is the P400e. Running on a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol motor, the latest entrant is a plug-in hybrid.
Additionally, a 13.1 kWh lithium-ion battery will also be there to power an electric motor in order to generate a combined 398 horsepower and 640 Nm of torque.
Due to this, the 2018 Range Rover Sport will be able to sprint from 0-100 miles per hour in just 6.5 seconds with a top speed of 220 miles per hour. Primarily using electric power, P400e can traverse 51 kilometres with a charge of one time only and can be fully topped up in under three hours.
The SVR models benefit from all the cosmetic changes and have received a slight increase in the power. Now, the 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine produces 567 Horsepower and allows the car to go from 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.
The 2018 Range Rover Sport SUV model will be made available at the start of the next year in the UK and will make way to markets around the world shortly afterwards.
