2018 Nissan Pathfinder launches in UAE
The 2018 Nissan Pathfinder has finally landed in the United Arab Emirates and it brings new features like the totally new V-Motion front grille, new & improved tweaked headlights and tail lights along with the new bumpers. Considering how old (first one came out back in 1987) the Pathfinder as a vehicle is, this is still a really great SUV to buy. It competes directly with Honda CR-V and Ford Explorer.
The 2018 Nissan Pathfinder comes with a 271 horsepower engine which can produce 340 Nm of torque. The engine has a 17 horsepower increase from the last version. All this can help this SUV real a speed of 100km/h in just 7.5 seconds in the two-wheel models and 8 seconds for 4WD.
With much more stiffer springs added to both front as well as rear suspensions, the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder will have much less of a body roll and will be able to climb the terrains much sharper. If you talk about numbers, the front suspension is 11% stiffer while the rear suspension is 7% stiffer as compared to last year’s Nissan Pathfinder.
Nissan is using a third generation CVT transmission which shaves about 50 KG from the whole weight of the vehicle and copies a six-speed automatically gearbox perfectly. Currently, Nissan offers three models of the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder i.e. S, SV and SL. The Front wheel drive models of the 2018 Nissan Pathfinder start out at AED 119,000 with four-wheel drive models start from AED 126,000 to AED 169,000.
The full option models come equipped with a premium 13-speaker BOSE sound system, adaptive cruise control, voice recognition, motion activated tailgate and a moving object detection system plus other premium features including power seats, leather upholstery, sunroof and more.
