2018 Jeep Wrangler to be Delivered Later This Year with Two Flavours
2018 Jeep Wrangler 4-cylinder motors have undoubtedly been the town talks in the past few months. With no substantial evidence of output figures, certain rumours are circulating that backed by a NHTSA filling a horsepower of 368 would race towards each corner.
A few days back, some information was leaked on the internet that fans of Wrangler could look forward to a vigorous 2.0-litre petrol motor.
Though the details were removed by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) within few hours and was subsequently announced that the engine is not being rated yet.
A horsepower of 268 seems more feasible and reasonable, but if by any chance the information leaked was accurate, the fans will witness the most potent 4-cylinder motors in the 2018 wrangler. Comparing it with the engines of what Mercedes-Benz-a45, GLA45 and CLA45 models have, the iconic off-roader would easily crank out slightly more horses.
FCA does have the exact technical know-how and adequate resources needed to create such an engine. However, if the company decide to fit in an SUV before a sedan, then it would be an odd move to fix. Although, buyers have also shown their interest in purchasing a model with 350 horsepower.
Two Flavours for the 2018 Jeep Wrangler
At launch, two flavours for the model of rugged off-roader will be available. One with the new 2.0-Litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol motor and the other with traditional 3.6-Litre V6 Pentastar engine with 285 horsepower.
To know about the final figures one would have to wait for the Auto show to be held in Los Angeles later this year.
